Return Policy

     When choosing a carrier to buy there are so many choices.  I like to compare it sometimes to buying a nice dress or a good pair of shoes, what works for someone else may not work for you and without really trying a carrier out it is hard to tell if it will work for you and your child.That is where the Recycle Your Carrier Return Policy comes in! 

     Years ago we had a rental carrier program where we had a limited selection of carriers to "rent" and then always return after a set time. But I got to thinking, if someone buys a carrier and then loves it why should they have to ship it back and pay for shipping a new carrier to them? So that is why we created the recycle your carrier return policy.

OK here is the short simple version:

    Try any (yes any carrier on our site- new or used) carrier or a few carriers for up to 30 days. Return what doesn't work for you, and all you are out is the shipping. The rest will be refunded back to you. After the 30 days- any time- 3 months... 6 months...8months... etc you can still return your carrier and we will just add a fee for the time you have had the carrier. The fee is $10 a month.

     (The fine print...In the first 30 days in new and unwashed condition: cash refund for full purchase price. If you received free shipping on your original order a flat $9 shipping charge will be deducted for the first carrier returned and $5 for each additional carrier.)


So you may be wondering about the recycling your carrier part...

     Do you have a carrier that you bought somewhere else that just isn't working for you and you're not sure what to do with it? Have you tried selling it yourself and haven't had any luck?  We have a great solution for you. Contact Us with a description of the Carrier (Brand, condition, How old, fabric, etc) We will let you know if it  a carrier we will buy, and how much store credit we can offer for it.BRAND NEW We now offer CASH for carriers!! (much less paperwork than any government run program lol:)) The cash we will give will be less than the amount of store credit we will offer.  And think more consignment store prices than prices if you sold the carrier yourself. In most cases you will be able to sell the carrier for more yourself, but if that is going to slowly, or you don't want the hassle, this program may be for you! We want to be able to sell the carrier ourselves at a low price to help make it affordable for a mom who may need one at a lesser cost.

FYI- Currently we cannot buy back homemade carriers or any brand of pouch style sling

We will then wash, if needed, your carrier and place it for sale as a return carrier so another mama can try it out as well!  Recycling the carrier!

 OK now here's the disclaimers:)  

  • Do not return a carrier without contacting us first for instructions 
  • Carriers with excessive wear ie: large stains, significant fading or tears or smelling of cigarette smoke may incur an additional fee please contact us if this is a concern for you
  • CARRIERS RETURNED AFTER 3 MONTHS WILL BE ISSUED A REFUND AS STORE CREDIT- Store credit can not be refunded as cash.
