- What is the difference between the Angelpack LX and the Beco Butterfly II?
- Which baby carrier is right for me?
- Why should I buy a carrier from you and not just get a cheaper one at my local Big Box store?

What is the difference between the Angelpack LX and the Beco Butterfly II? TOP
There are quite a few differences even though they are both considered Soft Structured Carriers (ssc's) ( all references to Beco refer to the Butterfly II)
- The waist on the Beco extends to 58 inches, the waist on the Angelpack goes to 47 inches.
- The Angelpack LX (APLX) Goes on the front, Back and Hip
- The Beco goes on the front and back
- The Beco has a panel of fabric between you and your child, an extra safety feature.
- The Beco because of the panel you can put the baby in the carrier and put it on your back like a backpack.
- The Beco having this extra panel is a little warmer for the summer.
- The APLX you can nurse in. The Beco you can, but many find it more challenging.
- The Beco stores the detachable hood in a sleeve on the waistbelt.
- The APLX has a small pocket inside the main panel that stores the hood.
- The Hood on the Beco attaches with snaps, and has elastic on the sides to better cup the childs head.
- The hood on the Aplx attaches with velcro.
- The Beco has a built in infant insert that is now removable. The angelpack can be used with infants, but does not have the extra support of the insert..
- The Beco has chest straps that are attached so they can't slide off, the Angelpack chest straps are not perminantly attached so if the shoulder straps are unbuckled they can slide off.
Which baby carrier is right for me? TOP
I have heard of someone else answering this question by asking "well which shoes are right for me?" There are lots of variables to take into account. Your size, your babies age, what you plan to use it for, quick trips or long hikes, what fabrics you like, will you want to breastfeed in it and more. I will be glad to help you try to find a good fit, but like a good shoe many times you just need to try it out and break it in to get it to work well for you. Check out the link at the bottom of the page for details on our recycle your carrier return policy. Thanks!
